An Important Message on Suspicious Job Offer Letters
Written By: ContainerPort Group
We have recently been made aware of illegitimate job offer letters being sent from a party claiming to represent ContainerPort Group on both Indeed.com and LinkedIn.com. These offer letters may ask for personally identifiable information, such as a social security number or bank account information. We suspect that this is an attempt to defraud individuals for their personal information.
ContainerPort Group candidates will never be asked for their personal information until a signed offer letter is returned to our human resources (HR) department. And no offer would be extended unless the individual completed an in-person interview.
Any candidate who has already applied and has questions about the legitimacy of their application should contact our HR recruiting team: HRrecruiting@worldshipping.com.
Individuals who are interested in positions with ContainerPort Group should visit our website to view all of our openings: www.containerport.com/careers.
If you suspect your financial information may have been compromised, please contact your financial institution. If you suspect your social security number may be at risk, visit identifytheft.gov for ways to protect and recover your information.
We apologize for the confusion and frustration this may have caused. We are working diligently to ensure the responsible parties are uncovered and dealt with by the appropriate authorities.
