Company’s 25th drayage location demonstrates strength across U.S.
Minneapolis, Minnesota - ContainerPort Group (CPG®) is pleased to announce the opening of its new terminal location in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The facility is scheduled to open for business on January 4, 2021 and will solidify the company as a dominant force throughout the Midwest.
“With our existing network covering the East Coast, South, and Gulf regions, the expansion into Minneapolis just made sense as a way to grow our Midwest operations,” says CPG President Michael Smith. “Our decision to open another location is a sign that our company is continuing to grow and add business, despite the circumstances that surrounded 2020. We would not have made this decision if we did not have support and commitment from our customers.”
The two-acre facility is located at 1300 New Brighton Boulevard in Minneapolis, conveniently situated next to I-35 and an equal distance between the two primary rail ramps. It also features secure storage, plug-ins, and specialized equipment such as private 40-foot chassis and triaxles. In addition, CPG continues to be backed by one of the largest owner-operator fleets east of the Rocky Mountains and 50 years of experience providing multimodal services for the transportation industry.
