CLEVELAND, Ohio - ContainerPort Group (CPG®) announced today that the company has been ranked on the Transport Topics Top 100 For-Hire Carriers list for the fourth consecutive year.
“This is another example of how hard our team has worked over the last year,” says CPG President Joey Palmer. “Trucking continues to be a competitive industry, and the market has been turbulent. Throughout all the challenges, we have continued to thrive and find new solutions for our customers.”
“CPG has been around for over 50 years, and with that longevity comes experience,” said Fred Hunger, chairman of CPG’s parent company, World Group. “With our deep relationships and focus on the customer, the results we’ve experienced speak for themselves. And I echo Joey’s comment about the hard work of our team - our owner operators, field employees, and corporate team all work incredibly hard to create positive energy for everyone in the company.”
Since the beginning of 2022, CPG’s fleet of owner operators has grown by over 15%, percent, including 10% growth in the previous two months. Additionally, in late 2021, CPG launched Bristol Transportation, part of ContainerPort Group’s capacity network, in Savannah, Charleston, and Chicago markets with additional anticipated growth slated for 2022.
“We have grown our truck count, focused on expanding the range of our core offerings, and with our mobile app DrayPal™ now available to help owner operators manage their day more effectively, we feel like the sky is the limit,” Palmer added.
