ContainerPort Group (CPG) is proud to announce its continued participation in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) SmartWay® Transport Partnership—a public-private initiative aimed at reducing emissions and improving supply chain sustainability.
Since 2019, CPG has been an active SmartWay partner, consistently measuring and managing the environmental impacts of our drayage operations. What This Means for Our Customers
As a SmartWay partner, CPG helps shippers meet their own sustainability goals. Our participation provides customers with the assurance that their drayage provider is taking measurable steps to reduce fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions across the supply chain.
Why It Matters
The freight transportation sector is evolving, and sustainability is now a key factor in logistics procurement decisions. By participating in SmartWay, CPG aligns with a national framework that promotes cleaner, more efficient freight solutions across every lane we serve.
“We’ve made sustainability part of how we operate, not just how we communicate,” said Joey Palmer, President of ContainerPort Group. “Our continued SmartWay partnership reflects our values and supports the evolving priorities of our customers.”
